Der Untergang 2004
In this
story we also see the humanitarian side of Hitler, who, despite having his
idealistic tantrums, was very "shocked" before his downfall. How the
leader, once considered a military genius, could not think rationally. Behind
her stubbornness she desperately needed her lover Eva Braun to continue with
her before she died. On the verge of his downfall, Hitler decided to keep his
pride by choosing his own path of death and not letting his enemies touch his
body. Apart from actors we don't know in Indonesia, every character is played
very well. Bruno Ganz played Hitler brilliantly. He succeeded in portraying a
character who remained authoritative with all his flaws. The weakness of this
film, we think, is the lack of familiar suspense. The story progresses quite
well, but the plot feels a little slow. Moreover, the duration is quite long,
for those of you who don't like historical movies may feel a little sleepy in
the middle of the movie. But don't worry, if we're interested in history, it
shows us a lot of other things we can take. Overall, the film offers a
well-packed historical narrative. It's a shame if you miss this movie because
besides being entertaining, it can also broaden your horizons. Enjoy watching
and enjoying the movie.
